not a great shroom gummy experience - Yet again we just lie around feeling sick.
frozen-over Saw Kill - Yet again we just lie around feeling sick.
helpful for a trivia team - I'm not completely worthless as a human being, since I can define the word 'callow' without preparation.
I2C bootloader success - The key was to only give the grunt work to ChatGPT.
cooking for a dog tragedy - Gretchen prepares for another dog-related road trip to Maryland.
lack of supervision - Gretchen drives to Maryland and I get drunk.
face-aching cold - Having to do something novel while walking Charlotte. Also, achieving great I2C firmware-flashing reliability.
zeroing in on a hot water pipe - Before I could do that, I had to thaw an ice blockage upstream from it.
overwhelmed by leaks - Installing a manifold over the hot water tank, I am beset with challenges. But, on the plus side, I get my I2C bootloader working on my AVR microcontrollers.
fixing that final leak - Also, ChatGPT destroys one of my Arduino Pro Minis.
blue argyle triceratops - The dogs pull another shift at the bookstore and are rewarded with toys.
soldering in a closet - I take lots of precautions about flames and breatheable air.
PEX, abraided knuckles, and a well-deserved bath - Connecting the upstairs bathroom to the boiler room via an alternative PEX pipe.
my heart can count - Unnerved as it decides to swoon on every fifth beat.
day before the Caribbean - Laundry, gasoline, and last-minute bootloader experiments.
traveling on my birthday - On various planes to Grenada in the Caribbean.
hot sauce for the coming cruise - Our resort on Grenada is poorly run, but it has great hot sauce and massages.
motivated tortoises - After finding what to do with leftover breakfast melon, we ride a van down to the southeast corner of Grenada and eventually board a sailing ship.
Charlotteville, Tobago - I have an unpleasant snorkeling experience and decide it is better to just be bored.
semi-tame hummingbirds - An excursion into the Tobago rainforest.
the sea turtles of Petit Rameau - Gretchen spends time with them and an octopus. Later, it's trivia night on the ship.
timepiece miracle - Gretchen loses her watch in the surf and then tries to find it some hours later.
karaoke in the Caribbean - Kelly and Simon both give stand-out performances.
Port Elizabeth commerce - We buy eye drops, sunscreen, and rum. And we also go snorkeling.
slot canyon on Martinique - The payoff in the course of a poorly-planned excurcison proves surprisingly good, at least for Gretchen.
snorkeling off St. Lucia - Also the embarrassment of being indebted to a stranger on a cruise ship.
rough seas near Mayreau - Incoming tenders are the late afternoon entertainment.
Gretchen's phone spontaneously unbricks - All we had to do was return to the home of the brave.
