We skidded down the first two small logs-or rather 6 inch poles-using Natchez with a breast collar and saddle-off the horn. This worked impressively and she gives promise of being a good pulling horse! We're having a good warm front rain today. Cut a nice head of cabbage from beneath cornstalk cover in the creek garden.
