I noted that several of the first trees planted last fall are showing signs of branch dehydration, with bark wrinkle. The Pricilla apple, peach and nectarine show it. This probably due to the deeply frozen ground, which prevents the roots from supplying water to the tops. Heard a robin the other day. (edit)
