Also, the cauliflower appears to be growing rapidly in the creek garden. We allow the goats to run for a while several times a day on the brushy hillside, during which they fill themselves with leaves and twigs rapidly. [ turned out to be destructive of the forest!] note, I'm doing more watering of small plants this year since I have observed they respond well to this- esp. peppers, tomatoes, cauliflower, egg plant. We dined on the first podded peas + spinach tonight. 21 eggs today. I cut another section of the flood plain grass for hay. I also have begun to fence alpng the swamp boundary. (edit)
