NMoted the yellowish, grayish green cutworm on the parsnip plants and killed them, also on the parsnip blue root aphids. In the slope garden I watered the rest of the melons, hoed corn, cabbage. 17 eggs today. Hauled in 3 more WB of hay from the flood plain, maling about 23 loads so far. Froze some peas but also had peas + watercress [from stream] for supper. (edit)
