Watered in the creek garden the lettuce, spinach, cauliflower, sweet peppers, tomatoes. NMoted the yellowish, grayish green cutworm on the parsnip plants and killed them, also on the parsnip blue root aphids. In the slope garden I watered the rest of the melons, hoed corn, cabbage. 17 eggs today. Hauled in 3 more WB of hay from the flood plain, maling about 23 loads so far. Froze some peas but also had peas + watercress [from stream] for supper.
