Planted 30' band 1. 5' wide of Chantenay and Denver[?] Half Long carrots in the slope garden using no fertilizer but previously placed ashes. This is new soil however. Don and Gus are hoeing the field corn at 50c a 200' row. Gus did 2, Don 1 today. Planted a 30' row of Imp. Golden Wax beans in the slope garden. Sold 1 doz. eggs for 60c. 16 eggs today. We had a light rain all afternn.
