see also: Energy in a Real World Virginians for Wilderness Forests of the Appalachians | Wednesday, June 29, 1977 watered tomatoes and cucumbers in the creek garden and cabbage in the slope garden. Natchez trampled and slightly ripped the tent the boys were camping with on the flood plain pasture! It was lucky they wetn't in it! I hoed 2 rows of field corn and on the 3rd the hoe handle broke! I now have marble-sized tomatoes, but in general tomato plants look good in both gardens. I also have wax beans about an inch long in the slope garden. 21 eggs today. (edit)
