Friday, December 30, 1977

We had a very light (~1/4") snow, but it's fairly warm. Don and I cut two damaged walnut trees down, each about a foot in diameter. One appears to be an excellent log as it had only about 1/2" of sapwood. We had 15 eggs today, about half were from a discovered nest.
