It began snowing last night and this morning we had about 4-5 inches, We cleaned the entire stove pipes again (i don't believe I recorded a cleaning we made after Christmas.) We have had freezing drizzle most of the day and this evening, now heavy snow, so that we now have a total, since yesterday, of ~8 inches. But it all came down very quietly so far. We brought Natchez up from the back swamp to the barn and fed her grain and alfacorn. She looks to be in excellent shape, having only lost her hay belly. 10 eggs today.
