It froze slightly late this morning (after 5 DST). I finished spreading and leveling the corn field! Hopefully will begin planting corn tomorrow. Planted !~30' double row of Crosby's Egyptian beets in the creek garden using no fertilizer but under manure compost. The little buck of Gracie's died this evening after much effort to save him by Betty. 19 eggs + a nest of 9 today.
