see also: Energy in a Real World Virginians for Wilderness Forests of the Appalachians | Wednesday, August 23, 1978 I made a bin in the "smokehouse" for storing dry corn and other seeds. Spld 4 doz. eggs at 70c a doz. Many honeybees are on Hollow Joe-pye weed, ironweed and tall yellow flower composites in the flood plain. I watered the tomatoes and peppers in the creek garden. 24 eggs today. Betty rode Folly for the second time around the Mtn. and using the swamp route back with Bob riding Natchez. Folly is doing extremely well for a green-broke filly. Gus has been riding Natchez bareback and does very well. Bought 100 lbs, of laying mash. (edit)
