Planted 30' rows of Ruby lettuce over cow manure and Hollow Crown parsnip (no fertilizer) in the creek garden. 23 eggs today. Shaner's bees are dying apparently from lack of food. It is depressing to see them now in one hive at least coming out of the hive and falling to the ground in a greatly weakened condition.
