(T) Noted peas were coming up vigorously on 19th 9 planted on 2-28) also onions taking root. Today (19th) planted (T) 50 parsnip, 50 norgold russet and 100 Kennebec potatoes over previously prepared mnure. I covered the 3 inch these were planted in by flood plain soil dug last year. The weather is turning warm as I write this. (!) I also planted a 30' row(extension ) of Bu--[???]

(T) on 20 trans[/] planted 15 Fordhook lettuce plants.

(T) on 21st planted about 15 potato sets left over from store bought potatoes

(T)planted 12' band of dwarf green curled kale. I used no fertilizer of any kind on this kale since the soil seems v ery rich.
