Noted a few potato beetles on the early (Norchip) potatoes. Also noted an apparent lighter colored "potato beetle" larvae on horse nettle. Finished fencing the slope garden and put Natchez on the flood plain for abut 3 hours. A dramatic thing is the way her new hoof growth reflects the better nutrition she has had since we have had her. This new growth appears as a 1/3 inch ring on top. The weather has been very cool (50s-60s at night) and today we had some rain.
