The muskrats or rabbits have discovered my carrots with a vengence! There probably will be few left soon. I have noted that all vegetables in the creek garden are now flourishing, with no sign of deficiencies. The foliage is lush, dark green and they are growing rapidly. The summer squash are the largest leaved plants I have ever grown and the Lady Godiva pumpkin is now fruiring. Bought another 100 lb of chick starter. Betty made 6 jars of blackberry jam this morning over the plate Four of them were pints. I finally planted my last Marglobe tomato plant in the creek garden. The carrots planted 7-10 [?] (edit)
