see also: Energy in a Real World Virginians for Wilderness Forests of the Appalachians | Thursday, October 28, 1976 It was 20deg. F this morning. Also, I loaded a half load (to see if I could climb hill) of manure and took it to the high field and brought back a load of wood. I left at 8:00 and returned at 9:00 although the load is not unloaded yet. *We lost another J. J. Warren this morning (?) or noon (?) as evidenced by a patch of small feathers on the flood plain! Most likely a Coopers Hawk since the patch of feathers was isolated in the open. I had noted a small accipiter fly over on Oct. 1. (edit)
