see also: Energy in a Real World Virginians for Wilderness Forests of the Appalachians | Thursday, December 2, 1976 After several days in which the temp. went down to 10deg. Fat night, its cloudy and threatening to snow, I am again digging post holes (two this morning) for the fence around the high field. There is about 3" of frost, which does not hinder. After a high of 5 eggs the chickens are near averaging about 2/day, perhaps because of the cold. However some J. J. Warrens are now sexually mature and should start laying soon if they have not already. Bought 100 bag of laying mash. (edit)
