Temp. was 9deg. F this morning and the chickens gave us 19 eggs today! Betty has been feeding them more. Also the creek pumped stopped this morning and made a strange noise when it ran later. It may have been that the line was partially frozen. At any rate, I covered the soil above the line to the stream with 5 WB of tree chips mulch.
