see also: Energy in a Real World Virginians for Wilderness Forests of the Appalachians | Tuesday, June 21, 1977 I watered cauliflower, peppers, yellow tomatoes, egg plant, cucumbers in the creek garden. Flea beetles are very bad on cauliflower and egg plant-as they have been right along. Cataloupe and watermelon planted first are in bloom, as are the green beans in the slope garden. The latter have many blossoms. Also VF tomatoes are in bloom. 16 eggs today. (edit)
