see also: Energy in a Real World Virginians for Wilderness Forests of the Appalachians | Wednesday, July 27, 1977 Some anima (?) apparently ate or at least pulled off a large part of one of my cayenne pepper plants. It must have had a hot breath! I have been watering again. I inspected the hill patch and field. The peanuts and cabbage in the patch being stunted, especially the peanuts have suffered further from severe damage by rodents or rabbits. The corn seems to be forming many cobs despite its stunted nature, but it is doubtful if there will be enough polles[?] to fertilize these. I also picked a quart of blackberries, However, this crop is very poor. (edit)
