Friday, September 23, 1977

I began to dig sweet potatoes in earnest and they look good. Each morning now many grackles come to eat Chinquapin oak acorns. Honey is a little under the weather with loose stool. The weather dry, cool and sunny today. I hauled in 3 WB of hay. 13 eggs today.
