Monday, March 6, 1978

It warmed up to the high 40s this afternoon with a bright sun. We sold 9 doz. eggs at 70c a doz. to, as usual, the Natural Way. I also took the goats up the slope to a honeysuckle patch. 25 eggs today. I killed a J. J. Warren that had become blinded in one eye by an infection. All the other chickens were attacking it.
