There was a barrel in the stream from the flood on March 14, the kind people use for barrel racing. Gus wanted to pull it out, so he went to the stream after jumping from the barrel to land to his island. [?] Finally, he removed his shoes and socks and waded in. But the water was far deeper than expected, resulting in a soaking from the waist down and the fast current resulted in losing the barrel. 23 eggs today.
