A warm (70s), very windy day with a few showers. We dibudded Gracie's kids 9 with luck!) but are apprehensive since we only held the hot iron on for about 5 seconds. The alfalfa planted 5-7 is already sprouting with roots 1/8 inch long on some. I prepared the rest of the alfalfa patch. 16 eggs today. The potatoes in both patches are coming up.
