Sunday, May 14, 1978

Cloudy and windy most of the day. It only warmed up to about 60deg. F but the bees are very active, particularly in the Chinquapin oaks, which are now in bloom. All vegetation seems to be growing very rapidly. 21 eggs today. The first alfalfa planted shows primary leaves now.
