Saturday, May 27, 1978

Another very warm but partly cloudy day. A hive of bees swarmed in the early afternoon and are still hanging on a limb about 20' above the hive. I had notified Shaner, but he hadn't come at nightfall. I planted 15 Cal Wonder sweet pepper plants in the creek garden using no fertilizer. We also disbudded Jenny, Honey's doe today. 15 eggs today. Hauled in 2 WB loads of hay.
