see also: Energy in a Real World Virginians for Wilderness Forests of the Appalachians | Sunday, August 6, 1978 Rain continued as usual in a heavy downpour this evening, after a generally cloudy day. The raccoons din't bother any of the corn last night, although only the hill field was guarded. However, this evening it rained too hard to go and I expect trouble. 9 eggs today. We're also having plenty of trouble with our nearest neighbor, who we opposed in a special use permit for a painting and body shop. This evening he made all sorts of dire threats re that we had better move because we could expect nothing but trouble from now on and that "we are not wanted" in the community. (edit)
