I spread manure an leveled about 1/6 of the hill field corn pastch. I also planted one 50' row of potatoes (edge row) on the hill foeld, using my own sets. But today Betty bought seed (certified) potatoes for the rest of the patch. We had asparagus for supper. 22 eggs today. Bought 100 lbs each of oats and mash and 50lbs of alfacorn.

Leveled and manured another 1/6 of the corn patch and this afternoon hauled another pick-up load of WR cow manure to the field.. I also brought down a load of wood. 17 eggs today. Sold a doz. eggs for 70c.
