Dear Diary:
Weather today -- too early to tell
Mood today -- ready for a brawl
Fly count for yesterday -- 0
HF -- 437 %
If Gus baby thinks he's got me whupped, he's got another think coming. I'm tired of putting up with CRAP from a misanthropic, mysogenistic, malcontent who has nothing better to do than slam other people's work. The page which seems to have Gus's undies all bunched up is my Diary Archives page. And it stays just the way it is because *I* like it and this in my damn page! He claims I lose hits because of long download times. So what? It's their loss, not mine. My little refersal in attitude was helped along quite a bit by a consultation with an attorney who is 1) licensed to practice in both California and Virginia (home of Weasel Gus and his provider) and 2) thinks I have a mighty fine case for slander, harassment, libel and a few other goodies. Gus baby won't be alone in court, though; his ISP, comet.net will be right there at the defendants' table with him.
Enough time, emotions and drivel wasted on the above-mentioned sub-human. Site restoration is, naturally, going to take some time. The webrings and NARC are in great shape and no one should have any more trouble with them than they usually do given the fact that the webring's server is down about 40% or the time or more. I'm seriously thinking about password protecting the Diary Archives just to frustrate Gussie, but that's undoubtedly more of a pain in the butt than it's worth. Gus baby can just wait for those four minute downloads (just a *wee* bit of an exaggeration on his part).... or if he had any brains, he'd read the diary right here on my main page, where average loading time on a 28.8 modem is 37 seconds. But I don't recall anyone ever saying Gussie has massive brain power....
I'm mildly perturbed with Rudy tonight, but that's nothing new. The man couldn't be on time if the fate of mankind hung in the balance. Of course as soon as I see him I'll be so delighted that all transgressions (including the fact that he's now three hours late) will be forgiven. I think Cardigan is perturbed with me, though I'm not quite sure why. His emails have been scarce to say the least. But then again, he may just be caught up in something else. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt since he's not one to hold back when annoyed with something or someone. Had a nice but short chat with Jeannette today, then received a nice email from her... which I have yet to answer. I am SO bad when it comes to answering emails. I plead permanent airheadedness.
Okay, I take it all back about Cardigan. I just got an email from him and as usual I drew the wrong conclusions. He owes me a good chat, though. :) And there is a group of Ladies to whom I owe a very big debt of gratitude. I'm speaking of the Ladies of the Heart. I've received such an outpouring of love and support from them the past couple days.... how can I ever thank them? Well, I can't. Not adequately. So Ladies, THANK YOU!
