program all day - Wednesday March 14 2001    

I wrote code all day, from 7:30 am until midnight. Every time it seemed I was making progress, I'd see this whole new swath of code I needed to write. I'm on a deadline and I don't think I'm going to meet it. I notice that as I work later and later, I start experiencing distortions in my thinking that often trap me in aggravating problems that require a lot of fumbling back and forth to escape.
