Like my brownhouse:
   subtract from seasonally-affected
Wednesday, January 11 2006
The warm weather continues. The snow around our house is melting, but not so fast as in other places. This is because we live down shadow from a low hill covered with evergreens.

The firewood we bought for inflate post-Katrina prices this November wasn't only green, a lot of it was thin-stemmed Black Birch and other undesirable wood. If it wasn't for a new source of free firewood, one I can pillage on a weekly basis, seeing the miserable wood I paid for every time I venture into the garage would would further subtract from my seasonally-affected mood.
But it's not easy being seasonally-affected when the weather is like it's been and there's not even a need to use any of the firewood.
