Like my brownhouse:
   minimalist vegan pizza
Tuesday, June 22 2010
Today was an especially rainy day, at least by the standards of this particular year. According to Weather.com, we received slightly more than a third of an inch of rain, enough to refill all the rain barrels.
This evening Gretchen made another of her vegan pizzas, this time pursuing a somewhat minimalist strategy. It wasn't as richly-festooned with vegetables as usual. It was not my favorite of her pizzas, but the crust was very good, and that's a huge part of what makes a pizza great. As always, my half had the hot pickled peppers on it, and maybe her half contained olives. I was so deliberate in my eating of my first slice that it lasted for more than one segment of Jeopardy.
