   new uses for newly-learned tricks
Sunday, February 24 2002
The recent work I did on that Flash data presentation tool (see the entry for February 21st) got me to thinking about other applications for the core technique, which is the changing of alpha values for graphic layers in response to button events. It occurred to me that I could make a sort of "dress-up game" for a project I've been working on with a secret collaborator for the past month or more. So I spent the whole day engrossed in making this new Flash interaction. There were plenty of frustrations along the way, but that's the inevitable pain of learning. Hopefully you'll get to see what I made some day. [REDACTED]
