   two small globular maps
Saturday, October 8 2016

Oh the glorious Trumpian shitstofm I rode throughout the day, boinging back and forth between my favorite websites: Slate.com, Talkingpointsmemo.com, Huffingtonpost.com, and FiveThirtyEight.com. I had to avoid FiveThirtyEight.com back in mid September when Trump was rising up to an almost equal share of the Electoral College, but now the map looks like Obama's in 2012, though with the addition of North Carolina.
[REDACTED] I drove out to 9W to get some supplies and groceries. I expected to be giving my first SQL class to Te next week, and I thought I should get a whiteboard. So I bought one (and some pens) at the Target at the Hudson Valley Mall. Then at Mother Fucking Earth, I got myself some kombucha and the vegetables Gretchen had requested, and as I was going for the tofu and vegan cream cheese, I ran across Eva & Sandor, who quickly announced that they both had a serious cold and thus I should keep my distance. They said they'd like to come to the debate-watching party tomorrow (the event for which I was then shopping) but they weren't sure they'd be well enough. We then briefly discussed the latest Donald Trump outrage. What a time to be alive!
Because I was already out and about, of course I drove out to the Tibetan Center thrift store, where I bought a dry erase eraser (it was there, and I'd just bought a dry erase board), and two small globular maps of the Planet Earth. The biggest of these was four and a half inches in diameter.
